I have no idea how I lost your blog!!! YIKES. Anyway, I’m back. I’m very curious about the back history on why you have embraced the art of mandalas. I know that the literal meaning of mandala is circle, but it is also a powerful symbol for dreams – that is our search for completeness and self-unity. Hope all is well on your side of the world. Rain in Vancouver – I have my trusty umbrella with me today.
For quite some time I’ve found mandalas to be entrancingly fascinating, and decided about a year ago now to try having a go at creating my own ones from my photographs and have been enjoying the journey thus far.
It has actually been dry here for a few days in a row, but more rain forecast for tomorrow. Best wishes to you over there in BC 🙂
I like this view of an evergreen – it’s so upbeat, it makes me smile. Those curves! And the blurred background contrasting with the sharp foreground is so effective. I think this is a favorite. 🙂
Very nice. As a matter of fact, I like this one better than the header you currently have. (FWIW) 😀

Hi Graham, I love the monochromatic look of this one and also the “hard edges” of the needles are an interesting effect.

Thanks so much, Jane. I have to say I am quite partial to green tones myself.
